The reason why so many tourists go to the Priorat and cross the Mountains of Montsant to get to Siurana is because of its spectacular views. There is nothing better to see in Siurana! Siurana Castle, more than a thousand years old, is a historic jewel of the Priorat region. It is located on top of a cliff. The panoramic views of the Sierra de Montsant and the Siurana reservoir will leave you speechless.

The Siurana reservoir is one of the main attractions of the region because of its privileged location and all the activities that one can do there, such as kayaking or hiking. Next to the reservoir there are a couple of parking lots where you can leave your car before exploring the area. During the summer it is also possible to swim in the pools. However, we recommend that you be careful not to go too deep into the swamp.
