Cabrera-Lillo Palace

Parador of Granada

The Parador de Granada is one of the most renowned of Granada’s hotels. Situated in the beautiful gardens of the Alhambra, it is in a beautiful 15th century convent. Moreover, the convent is adapted for people with reduced mobility. This 4-star hotel is 0.6km from the Albaicín quarter, 0.8km from the San Nicolás viewpoint, and just a 10-minute walk from Granada’s old town and cathedral. Hotel Casa 1800 Granada is located in the heart of Plaza Nueva, 100 metres from the Albaicín and 400 metres from Granada Cathedral. This 3-star hotel is also within walking distance of the San Juan de Dios Museum, 500 metres from the Paseo de los Tristes, and 600 metres from the Alhambra and the Generalife. In addition, the nearest airport, Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén Airport, is 16 km away, and this hotel provides an airport shuttle service for a surcharge. The price per night at this hotel is 74€, including breakfast.

Hotel Casa Morisca

Located in Granada’s historic Albaicín district, on the Cuesta de la Victoria, this hotel offers exclusive accommodation in a noble residence dating back to the late 15th century. This 3-star hotel is located at the foot of the Alhambra. Also, it exudes all the magic and charm of the Alhambra that was passed down to the Moorish houses. It also has 3 stars and costs 149€ per room.

Smart Suites Albaicín

Smart Suites Albaicín is a Granada accommodation offering flats in the Albaicín neighbourhood. It is located just a 5-minute walk from Plaza Nueva and Gran Vía. It is located within walking distance of the Albaicín leisure area, where you can find several shops and restaurants. These beautiful suites are priced at 65 € per night. The Alhambra Palace is a 15-minute walk away, and Granada Cathedral and the San Nicolas viewpoint are 5 minutes away. Hotel Santa Isabel La Real

This beautiful 3-star Granada hotel, located in the historic centre of the city is in a historic 16th-century house. This authentic Andalusian building has a terrace and an interior courtyard. It is a 3-minute walk from Dar al-Horra Palace and 20 minutes’ walk from Granada Train Station. In addition, the property has spectacular views of the Alhambra and is ideally located for exploring the neighbourhood. A double room costs €138 per night.

El Ladrón de Agua Hotel

This is a 3 star boutique hotel, located on the Carrera del Darro. This boutique hotel is located in a beautiful 16th century house, with a stunning courtyard full of charm, and is also a 3 minute walk from the Plaza Nueva. Moreover, the location is perfect for making the most of your visit to the city. The price per night for a double room is approximately 80€.

Hotel Shine Albayzin

This hotel is also located in the heart of the Carrera del Darro. Hotel Shine Albayzin is a 16th century palace that faces the Nasrid Palaces of the Alhambra. Its 12 rooms are steeped in history and its beautiful courtyard makes it a very cosy and magical meeting place. The price of a double room per night is around 100€.

Palace of Santa Inés

This 3-star hotel is an elegant, renovated 16th century house located on the Cuesta de Santa Inés. It is a 6-minute walk from the Paseo de los Tristes, and a 7-minute walk from Granada Cathedral. In addition, it is an 18-minute walk from the medieval Alhambra complex. The location of this hotel is not as exact as the previous two, but its interior will make you want to walk the 6 minutes difference. The price for a standard double room per night is approximately 110€.

Mariana Pineda Palace

The Hotel Palacio de Mariana Pineda is a restored 17th century palace located on Carrera del Darro street, opposite the Alhambra. The Hotel is located next to the Darro River and is 400 metres from Granada Cathedral. The palace is named after the revolutionary martyr Mariana Pineda, who lived in the palace during the 19th century. The hotel also has a museum explaining its history. The price for a double room is 120€ per night.

Cheap Granada hotels

If you are going with friends and want to visit the city of Granada, but want to spend a minimum on accommodation, here are some options:

Lemon Rock Hostel

This hostel is in a 17th century building, 2 km away from the Alhambra and 3 km from the gardens of El Generalife. Moreover, the property is 1 km from the centre of Granada. El Lemon Rock Bar & Restaurant, its namesake, is a 5-minute walk away. It is a hostel with a great atmosphere, perfect for groups. The price per night depends on how many people you share the room with, if you go as a couple it’s 58€ for a double room.

El Granado Hostel

El Granado Hostel is in a 15th century Nasrid-style building on a small street in the centre of Granada, just a 5-minute walk from the cathedral. The train station is a 15-minute walk away and the bus station is 3 km away. Moreover, it’s worth going in a group, as the cheapest options are for shared rooms (€15), triple rooms (€31) and quadruple rooms (€31). If you go as a couple, the price is €70 for a double room.
