This island’s capital, Palma de Mallorca, is a cultural and historical hub so you can see the mixture of influences through the centuries. Menorca

This island is an idyllic place that attracts travellers due to its archaeological wonders and picture-perfect beaches. Menorca is the second largest island of the Balearic archipelago and one of the must-see paradises in the Mediterranean. It is made up of a wide range of colours from the turquoise of its waters, the dark green of its forests, as well as the white of its sandy beaches. With 216 kilometres of coastline, Menorca is an island with a seafaring tradition, full of beautiful landscapes and charming villages.

Menorca has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Cala Turqueta is one of the best known, along with Cala Macarella or Cala Mitjana. All of them have stunning crystal clear, turquoise waters. Another of Menorca’s great attractions are its lighthouses, with 7 lighthouses distributed around the island. The Cavallería lighthouse is at the northernmost point of Menorca, so it’s an ideal place to watch the sunset. The Favàritx lighthouse is located in the Natural Park of S’Albufera des Grau, in the east of the island and is characterised by its black and white stripes.

Fall in love with Menorca’s charming towns of Ciutadella, Binibeca or Fornells as you stroll through their narrow streets. Find shops selling handicrafts, local clothes and decorative items. Wander around the narrow streets of the old town, admire the Cathedral or the Castle of San Nicolas and take in the magical atmosphere of the small port of Ciutadella with its boats, bars, terraces and restaurants.

Ibiza

Ibiza may be the Balearic Island most noted for its hippie Mediterranean vibe, nightlife and free spirit, but this island also boasts a more intimate, rural side filled with dreamy beaches. The island of Ibiza has some of the most stunning scenery and crystal clear waters in the world. This makes the island one of the best places to travel to at any time of the year.
