Copenhagen Backpackers Hostel is located just 100 meters from Copenhagen Central Station and a 10 minute walk from Strøget Street, perfect for shopping. The hostel has both shared and family rooms, as well as private rooms if you are traveling as a couple. The bathroom is shared in all options.

2. Kong Arthur Hotel Copenhagen

This is one of the oldest hotels in the city. Founded in the 19th century, this 4-star hotel offers all kinds of amenities such as sauna, relaxation area with spa, fitness room and bar. It also has room service and for 27 € you can hire a traditional Nordic-style breakfast. The decoration will not leave you indifferent either, as it is a little more ostentatious than what we are used to seeing in modern hotels. The price per night is around 270€.

3. Citizen Copenhagen Radhuspladsen – Best hotels in Copenhagen

This 4-star hotel features a modern style designed by a well-known local artist. The rooms are perfectly equipped and also have an iPad from which to control the lights, blinds, air conditioning and TV.

The hotel has a restaurant, parking, bar and offers a la carte breakfast from 21€ every morning. Room rates are around €170 a night.

Best apartments in Copenhagen

It’s not all hotels in Copenhagen, the city, like the rest of Nordic cities, has a wide range of apartments to spend the vacations. It is a very comfortable option since we will have our own space to rest, and that will allow us to save money by cooking at home. These are some of the best options in the city.

1. Zoku Copenhagen

This is a spectacular set of apartments with the best designs in the city. All of them have a kitchen, bathroom and a spacious living area, in addition, they are very bright. In all apartments there is wifi, towels and basic bath products.

The best thing about this aparthotel is its location 3 minutes from the beach and 5km from the airport. In addition, there are many biking and hiking trails nearby. The rooms are spacious, tastefully designed and very functional as well as bright.

The building has wonderful terraces for sunbathing and a restaurant area where they serve the breakfast buffet, which costs 13 € and is worth it for its variety and abundance, perfect for a nice start of the day. The price of the night ranges from 180€.

Hotels for tight budgets in Copenhagen

The Hotel Copenhagen is one of those simple and cozy hotels with basic amenities. It is a bit far from the center, about a 15 minute walk. Precisely for these two reasons the prices do not exceed 100€ per night and we can book family rooms at a very good price. Of course, the hotel serves breakfast buffet in the traditional Nordic style. In the lobby there is also a bar where you can buy drinks.

2. CityHub Copenhagen

CityHub Copenhagen is a curious interactive hotel recommended primarily for couples. The hotel offers a mobile app that allows us to interact with other guests and locals in the city who can help us organize the trip. The rooms are small intimate cabins built in wood where you can also connect music via bluetooth.

The hotel has common areas with kitchen, lounges and a bar where we can get a wide selection of local brands of beer. The décor is very curious and you’re sure to love the experience of spending a couple of nights in this hotel. The prices of the rooms range from 90€.

3. Cabinn Metro

Cabinn Metro is a stylish 2-star hotel with the design inspired by ship’s cabins. It is located 6 minutes by train from the airport and 7 minutes from the central station. The rooms, which are also family-friendly, include free Wi-Fi and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Breakfast can also be booked for €13. The hotel has private parking and the reception is open 24 hours a day. Rooms are available from €80.

  • Tap water is safe to drink throughout the country.
  • The official currency of Denmark is the Danish krone.
  • We recommend that you exchange money before you set out on your trip, as it will work out cheaper.
  • European citizen don’t need a visa to enter the country either, your ID card or passport is enough.
  • Please note that stores close at 18:00h and on weekends at noon.
