What to eat in Cordoba?
Cordoba, and Andalusia in general, has incredible food. If you have the time, we recommend trying as many dishes as possible, starting with the ones mentioned below:
- The first dish you must try is the famous Flamenquines, a dish made with meat and ham wrapped in breadcrumbs. They are usually accompanied by potatoes or vegetables.
- Secondly, you have to try their exquisite salmorejo, a cream made with bread, tomatoes, garlic and olive oil, incredible!
- Next, we recommend fried aubergines with honey, currently one of the most popular tapas in bars. The aubergines are cut into slices or sticks, then they are fried and finally honey is poured over them to make them crispy.
- Finally, you must try the stewed oxtail, made from, as its name suggests, oxtail or cow’s tail.
