The Enchanted City, declared a Natural Site of National Interest in 1929, is a world-famous geological phenomenon. These rock formations were sculpted by water, wind and ice, which, by eroding the rocks over the centuries, have managed to shape interesting figures such as human silhouettes, objects and animals.
The surroundings of the Enchanted City are also magical, thanks to the vegetation, made up of gall oaks, junipers, boxwoods and blackberries, and the flocks of sheep grazing in the surrounding area.
Castle of Guadamur
The impressive Guadamur Castle is located on the outskirts of Toledo, and is a beautiful 15th century fortress. It is currently privately owned, but that doesn’t stop you from being able to see it up close.
