Burgos Cathedral
This cathedral has the honour of being the first classical Gothic cathedral in Spain, following the French models. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, it is one of the most spectacular cathedrals in Spain. From the Plaza del Rey San Fernando, where it is located, you will see its impressive main façade and its two enormous towers.
It is the third largest cathedral in Spain and is inspired by the Cathedral of Notre Dame and the Basilica of Saint Denis in Paris. In addition to the extravagant Gothic façade, inside you will find some of the most iconic features of the cathedral, such as the Capilla del Condestable, the Cimborrio over the transept, the Escalera Dorada, the Papamoscas or the tomb of the Cid Campeador.

The Burgos Castle Viewpoint
El Mirador del Castillo de Burgos has several points where you can observe the beauty of this city and see the cathedral in detail. The most popular viewpoint in Burgos is the one located in Burgos Castle.
This castle was founded in 884 as a line of defence for the city, of which only the ruins remain today. The Arco de Santa María

Aranda de Duero
At an altitude of 800 metres above sea level and crossed by the Duero River, Aranda de Duero is a beautiful town in the province of Burgos Spain. Aranda de Duero has a great historical legacy with buildings such as the Palace of the Berdugo family, the Sanctuary of Santa María de las Viñas and the Church of San Nicolás de Bari (the latter declared a National Monument). Covarrubias
The municipality of Covarrubias is located almost 900 metres above sea level, on the banks of the river Arlanza.
