The Marenyet Tower
The Maranyet Tower is another of the towers that were built in 1557. It had the same objective as the tower of Santa Ana to offer control and defence of the Mediterranean coast. Its location is strategic, as it is close to the river Júcar, in a marshy area; hence the name Marenyet.
