Frequently asked questions about the best Beaches in Mexico
Most of Mexico’s beaches are characterised by a lively atmosphere so you will often find restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, equipment rentals for sand and water sports such as beach volleyball or surfing.
Los Muertos Beach is located in Puerto Vallarta, to get there you can go by bus, car or rental car and drive along the Guadalajara-Compostela-Vallarta highway.
Alternatively, you can travel directly to the Puerto Vallarta International Airport, once you arrive you can get an uber or taxi which will take you to the city centre in approximately 15 minutes, and from there drive along the Malecon until you finally arrive at Playa de los Muertos.
