Located in the north of Comino, this bay is considered the second most interesting place on the island after Blue Lagoon. Santa Maria Bay is a beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear waters, perfect for snorkelling. Located just a 20-minute walk from Blue Lagoon, this beach also offers sun lounger and umbrella rentals, as well as the only food kiosk on the island.

St Nicholas Bay

Also located near Blue Lagoon, St. Nicholas Bay is a good starting point for a walk along the cliffs bordering the island. Exploring the caves and cliffs of Comino

Comino’s coastline is flanked by impressive cliffs that have spectacular natural caves. Don’t miss the opportunity to take a boat trip and see some of Comino’s most magnificent caves.

How to get to Blue Lagoon Malta?

To get to the Blue Lagoon, you will have to travel by ferry to the island of Comino. Ferries to the Blue Lagoon depart from the town of Cirkewwa (located in the northwest of Malta) or from Mgarr (located on the island of Gozo). The journey takes about half an hour.

  • Remember to bring everything you need for the day.
  • There is no shade at all in Comino, so don’t forget your sunscreen.
  • If you have any valuables that you don’t want to leave on the beach when you go for a swim, you can use the lockers located next to the boat dock.
  • Vehicles are not allowed on Comino, as the area is protected and classified as a nature reserve.
