📄 Documentation: Carrying a valid passport is mandatory. Additionally, you may need to present a return ticket and proof of sufficient funds for your stay.


💉 Certificate: No vaccination certificate or negative COVID-19 test is required to enter the country.


🦠 Vaccines: The yellow fever vaccine is mandatory if coming from areas affected by this disease. It is also recommended to be up to date with hepatitis A and B, typhoid, and rabies vaccines, especially if visiting rural areas or having contact with animals.

🦟 Health: It is advised to take preventive measures against mosquito bites, as there is a risk of dengue and other insect-borne diseases. 🩺 Health Insurance: It is strongly recommended to have valid international health insurance when traveling to Nicaragua, with very comprehensive coverage. Consular authorities cannot assume medical expenses incurred by foreign tourists. Private healthcare can be very costly.
