The passport must be valid for 6 months from the date of entry into the country. It must be kept until departure from the country; and in case of loss, you must go to an immigration office to obtain a duplicate after paying the corresponding fee.
🛂 Types of visas and how to obtain them
Short-term visas: this is the general tourist visa and allows stay and transit through Cuba for 90 days.
Long-term visas: in case you have other reasons for your trip (business, studies...) or if you want to stay in Cuba for more than 90 days, you should contact Cuban Consulates or Embassies. Countries with which Cuba has visa-free agreements are exempted.
