🛂 Passport: To enter Colombia, you need a passport with a minimum validity of six months.
📝 Visa: A visa is not required for tourists from many countries, including Spain, for stays of up to 90 days, extendable to 180 days annually. For citizens of other countries, it is necessary to check if a visa is required before traveling. You can easily manage your visa with our visa management service.
📄 Documentation: It is mandatory to carry a valid passport and a return ticket. In addition, all travelers must complete the Check-Mig form before departure, both for entering and leaving Colombia. The migration pre-registration (Check-Mig) must be done 72 hours before the flight and up to one hour before it closes.
💉 Certificate: Currently, a vaccination certificate or a negative COVID-19 test is not required to enter the country. The mandatory use of masks is only necessary in health service centers (hospitals, clinics, etc.) and in nursing homes.
🦟 Vaccines: The vaccine against yellow fever is mandatory for those visiting endemic areas or coming from countries at risk. Vaccines against measles, rubella, hepatitis A and B, typhoid fever, and rabies are also recommended, especially if visiting rural areas or having contact with animals.
🔐 Security: It is advisable to avoid rural areas and follow local security recommendations, especially in large cities.
🚰 Health: It is recommended to have international medical insurance and to drink bottled water outside the main cities.
🩺 Medical Insurance: It is highly recommended to have valid international medical insurance when traveling to Colombia, with very comprehensive coverage since there is no health agreement between Colombia and Spain. Spanish consular authorities in Colombia cannot cover medical expenses incurred by Spanish tourists. There is no public health system comparable to the Spanish one, and using private healthcare can be very costly.
