If you haven’t yet had the experience of standing on its crystal clear shore, you’re in for something special. It has wonderful views of the scattered islands off the coast of Ibiza and beautiful turquoise waters that invite you to swim. There are several areas to discover: one part with rocky walls, another at the foot of sand dunes.

In high season, the beach is very popular, and gets quite crowded. So, you can walk from cove to cove and discover a third smaller one, called Cala Escondida. It is located at the western end and is reached from the top of the cliffs by steps carved into the rock. This location is perfect for spending the whole day relaxing on the white sand. It is also one of the most special places in Ibiza for watching the sunset. This cove is the most westerly point of the island, exactly where the sun sets.

Conta Cove Ibiza Spain @Cristianbonaffe

Es Bol Nou

Es Bol Nou cove, also known as Sa Caleta, is enveloped by impressive red clay cliffs. It is a stretch of smooth rock, which at times even forms flat terraces on several levels, where you can watch the sunset.

Salada Cove @albawaldorf

Bassa Cove

This is a cove accessible by car or bus (15 minutes from San Antonio). But, the truth is that it has a special charm that tends to capture all those who venture near it.

It is one of the favourite beaches amongst the island’s residents as its surroundings are pristine, which has a spectacular effect. It is characterised by the fact that there is natural mud in one area of the sand. Also, you will see many bathers covering their skin with the clay.
