This Imperial Castle is the emblem of this city, standing out magically among the old town. This castle dominates the city from the hill. Being in such an elevated position, it offers views like no other place, as you can see the city in all its splendor.

With a bit of history and art, this castle offers you the history of all those who resided in this palace; most of them were emperors of the Holy Germanic Empire from the years 1050 to 1571.

Today, this castle is open to the public next to the main building with the Romanesque double chapel (which is one of the best preserved), the rooms of the emperors, the deep well and one of the towers. Also, at the entrance of the castle there is a viewing platform from which you can see the whole of Nuremberg.

Visit the Frauenkirche

Frauenkirche @lauramrpd

The Frauenkirche is a church built next to the market square.
