Things to do in Iguazú Argentina
1. Three Borders Landmark
The landmark of the 3 borders is where the Iguazú River joins the Paraná River. It is the territorial and political division of the countries of Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina, hence its name. Precisely on the Argentinean side, we can find a monolith painted with the light blue and white of the Argentinean flag, representing the importance of this place.
You can also look out from the viewpoint to see how close the three countries are to each other. In addition, there are benches and even a large frame to take a photo and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There is also an artisans’ fair where you can buy local crafts.
2. Güiráoga Animal Shelter
This centre is responsible for rescuing animals from the jungle of Misiones that arrive at the refuge from wildlife trafficking, or from being run over or injured. They also release those that have a chance of surviving in the wild and take in those that do not, so that they can potentially reintroduce their offspring to the wild.
The centre also runs educational programmes to raise awareness about the need to protect wildlife and the monte misionero. At this refuge you can meet the animals and tour the facilities to see the work they do.
- It is open daily from 9.30 am to 6 pm.

The ecological park of La Aripuca is an original place that is well worth visiting. This enclave seeks to raise awareness about the natural resources we have as well as encourage actions to preserve and promote the care of the environment.
