DAY 2 🏘️Route through the town of Tudela

In our case, we travelled from Valencia by car, which takes around 4 and a half hours and is a bit over 400 km to Tudela. We spent 60€-70€ on petrol (between the two of us) and the journey wasn't too long or tiring. We went in February and there was a lot of fog on the motorways, there were parts of the journey where we could only see a few metres ahead of the car.

About the destination

The Bardenas Reales is the largest desert in Europe. With its semi-arid landscapes, you feel like you are on the moon. It is such an impressive landscape that it has been used as a setting in films and TV shows, for example Game of Thrones. The Natural Park of the Bardenas Reales has been declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. It is simply stunning.

Parking is simple, you will find areas to leave your car which are completely free.
